Each year, Dorian Business Systems, together with Boy Scout Troop 57 of Garland, TX, participates in the Garland location of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Everyone knows someone who died, survived, or is battling cancer. Cancer has touched the Baker family, and has probably touched yours as well. But cancer is not a death sentence anymore thanks to the efforts of the American Cancer Society. According to the American Cancer Society, over 500,000 Americans are expected to die of cancer this year, more than 1,500 people per day.

Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation provides immediate and long term support to individuals sustaining a catastrophic spinal cord injury through activities associated with high school football. We've all seen hard hits on the football field where it takes a little while for the players to get up. Some never do. Gridiron Heroes, a Texas based charity, provides transportation for the parents and students to medical facilities, therapy, access to wheelchairs, portable ramps as well as Hope and Support.Gridiron Heroes was recently named a CNN Hero of the Year.
